[thelist] JavaScript Question - Alert box with two choices?

I am looking for little JavaScript that will pop up an alert box and give
the user two choices - yes or no. The purpose for this is to go on a
database driven site that allows the user to delete a record. I want an
alert box to pop up first that basically asks the person 'Are you sure you
want to do this' - Yes or No.

Any ideas?
