Well, now that people have found the meta tag that (mostly) disables,
Microsoft Smart Tags, it gave me an idea.

Clearly webmasters need to add the meta tags to their sites if they believe
(as I do) that Smart Tags are Bad Thing.

But we also need to be able to alert our readers that they are in a "Smart
Tag Free Zone" whose content can be trusted to conform to the site owner's
design and not MS or anyone else's.

So I've created a button in the style of those "Best Viewed With..." buttons
that you can add to your site if you wish. You can find it (along with some
explanation to point your readers to) at:

This is funny...

But I still cling to my belief that I'd like to actually SEE the software,
USE the software, and then FORM my opinion.

Not the reverse order.
