All the stuff in the codebase attribute of the <object> tag mean 
something and you should be aware of what they're telling Internet 
Explorer:

If you're still using your own HTML templates that reference the 
Flash 4 Active-X control and you have a Flash 5 movie, an IE with 
version 4 will try to play the movie with the 4 Player, and it won't 
work.

Conversely, publishing from Flash 5 as Flash 4 will still reference 
the 5 version in the HTML and the browser may attempt to download and 
install the newer version - even if your movie doesn't require it.
