I've done stuff for Yesmail, Engage, 12 Horses, and a couple
of others.  In all cases 600 pixels was the requested maximum
width.  I have no clue how this number was decided.  It wouldn't
surprise me at all to learn that many others use a slightly larger
size without trouble.
