Stephen,

If you just installed ActivePERL, it sounds like it could be one of two
things:

1) Execution rights on the script directory (check the properties)
2) Mapping the PERL extension (*.pl or *.ps or whatever) to the right
parameters in Windows (this has always been a manual process in my
experience). This can be done through the traditional means of associating
file types with Windows applications. On IIS 5, they also allow this to be
site by site under the advanced settings. This may be the case in IIS4, as
well.

hi,


i have come across the following error when i executed
perl scripts or asp,after dowloading and installing
the activeperl.

"Server Configuration Error
The server has encountered a configuration error
attempting to process your
request. The configuration parameter MD_SCRIPT_MAPS
(6014) has an invalid
value. Please contact the server administrator for
assistance."

please guide me to solve the problem, i am using iis
4.
