Hi Jasen

The key question is "what benefit/damage do they bring?"

What do they tell you as a site owner?
What do they tell the visitors?
Does either message change if the number is high or low?

The only place I've seen it recently is on
http://www.zeldman.com/coming.html

Cheers
Martin
