just a word of caution --

DO NOT USER THIS VERSION IF YOU WISH TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH ANYTHING NEWER
THAN IE5.0.

sorry to yell, but it's that serious.  microsoft chose to support a
different implementation in ie5.5 and newer and did not support the previous
version you're seeing at the address above.  prior to this change i spent a
great deal of time building my own implementation that had all sorts of
features.  now i'm screwed if i want to support newer browsers.  i've gotta
spend all that time rebuilding all those applications to use the new
implementation.

also, don't expect this to work in anything but win/ie.  no mac and no unix.
