Where are you settings this up? If you re using the "twinview"
settings. There should be the following settings:

"clone" will copy the Monitor to the TV

"vertical" will create a virtual screen that has the top on one and
the bottom on the other
(you can change which is the top screen by changing the "primary"
screen).

"horizontal" will create a virtual screen that has the left on one
and the right on the other
(you can change which is the left screen by changing the "primary"
screen).

There is a program called TVTool (http://www.tvtool.de/) that allows for
removing the black border. There is also a less powerful program called
TVCC (same url) that is for some of the alternative TVOut chips.

<tip type="GForce 2 TV Out Hacking" Author="Michael Pemberton">
Don't even try this if you are not 100% cure that your OS it stable. If
you get stuck and are forced to reset your system while you are in the
middle of having the output hacked to get it overscan, YOUR SCREWED. It
stuffs up your GF Card so that you can't even boot your system.

This also includes trying the set the output to TV without having the TV
connected before you boot. If the GF Card didn't detect the TV on boot,
Twinview will be disabled. TVTool / TVCC does not do this. It will
still attempt to output to the TV and will cause your system to sh!t
itself and again, your without a TV Card.
