I watched the thread, and think the core question may be "Is it in the
design spec to render stylesheet instructions held in an internal file that
is dynamically included at serve time from a ColdFusion server?" and I
don't know that myself, sorry.

Because the sheet is held externally anyway it seems like it would be a
clear shot to keep a static link to the sheet definitions and change these
defs as necessary, rather than making both the content and the pointer to
that content dynamic, but you may be doing something like specifying
different stylesheets for different devices, which may be difficult to
render anyway, so I probably wouldn't have the best setup anyway.

Sorry I don't have anything useful to add here, just didn't want you to
think you were shouting into a void, that's all.... :(
