A few months ago I had a job interview for a web development
position. Most of the questions were business and teamwork
oriented. There were a few "technical" questions tossed into the mix as
well. My personal favorite:

"What HTML tags would you use to create a table on a web page?"

To which I had to respond: "Um...the Table tag?" I asked them to clarify a
bit further, and it came out that they wanted to see if I could write HTML
by hand as opposed to using a WYSIWYG editor. Made me laugh, though.
