I always find looking at a candidates source code before they turn up is an
essential.

I had one guy come in for a job and when I asked him...

"so, the javascript function "XXXX" on your own homepage - what does it do
exactly?" (of course I knew coz i had looked at it)

his reply...

"I don't know - you tell me!"

:)  he didn't get the job :)

so  -  look at their source - not everyone is all they claim to be.
