Yes, there are various options... try the Macromedia Flash Technotes with
search phrase "text antialias".

(Later in the description I see you're apparently trying to get a
particular combo with editing and embedding and size/edge. Embedded fonts
are outlines, and aren't designed for a specific size like device fonts
are.)
