Not to get too much into interior decorating here, but I would recommend
just painting the doors with a semigloss paint.  Make 'em whatever funky
color you want!  When you're bored with 'em or something happens, just
repaint them.

And make sure there is "some" kind of support in the middle, leg or
whatever, or they will bow in the middle rather quickly.  Especially with
the weight of computers on them.
