[thelist] base href

Evolt actually has a base href tag of:
<base href="http://www.evolt.org/evolt/">

which *isn't* the default.

It's also nice to be able to copy one or two files into another directory
to test something and not have to copy all the images or all the files.

On Aug 5, Peter had something to say about [thelist] base href

>I notice sites like evolt and alistapart (and yahoo) have this tag:
><base href="http://www.alistapart.com/">
>I've read the description, but is it supported? And why is it useful to put
><base href="http://www.evolt.org/"> in the head, if that's the default anyway?
