don't worry rudy, i got your back.  *grin*

the spelling came from pre-evolt days when walker gave us the first version
of what has now grown into thesite.

precisely.  for this and other reasons i also prefer the singular naming
schemes.  it makes even more sense when you're referencing the data from a
query.

plural
 - users.id
 - employees.last_name
 - products.description

or

singular
 - user.id
 - employee.last_name
 - product.description

the singular makes more sense to me too.
