[thelist] accessibility

I'm reworking a very popular site, and we'll have an accessible version.
I'm thinking to put it at http://access.domain.com, or
http://txt.domain.com. Any pros or cons to this approach I should be aware of?

The ones I have:
pro: url's can be the same for both versions, easier for humans and scripts.
con: search engines may see them as two different sites (which is also a
pro in a way)

Any others?
