even if using that "scope" in certain instances meant that it wasn't
actually a true scope? i think preaching the mantra of "scope your
variables" and then advocating the prefacing of all variable names with
'attributes.' outside of a custom tag where there is no attributes scope is
highly hypocritical. this is especially hypocritical because by doing so
you're simply creating a longer variable name that so happens to have a dot
in the name to further the confusion. in essence, this is one of my bigger
beefs with the fusebox methodology and its supporters.
i have no beef with using the attributes scope -- if you're within a custom
tag.
