afternoon all,

i'm trying to process an xml document through an xsl stylesheet to
display all the right information at the right points in a html document.

this works perfectly in plain old english, but some of the pages are in
other languages such as french, portuguese. this means i need to be able
to display accented characters in my headings in the html. the usual
ú causes the stylesheet to give an error, and nothing i can think
of, or find, has worked.

is there any way to included accented characters in the html that isn't
going to cause the parser to die??

many thanks,

darren.
