[thelist] Site Critique requested

Hi list,

I've finally got around to doing some work on my own site and would request
that some list members could give the initial design a once over.

At the moment none of the links go anywhere (or shouldn't do :)

I'll namecheck Martin Burns at this point, whose cute "[d]" next to the
images I've lifted straight off his page at http://www.easyweb.co.uk/; hope
that's okay.

I've also studied his site and advice at length for how accessibility should
be done. Thanks Martin.

I've finally got sick of writing to non-standard specs and browser-specific
nonsense, so the point of this exercise was how "designed" I could get a
page that was completely standards-compliant. I'm fairly happy with what
I've managed to achieve.

The layout is done with CSS alone, so the site should also work in text
browsers, etc.

Old versions of non-compliant browsers should still get content, along with
a nice message about why the design look crap in their browser.

I'm particularly interested in how it looks on PC browsers under various OS,
as I understand they do wacky margin things with CSS.

All comments and screenshots (off list!) of "incorrect" layout gratefully
received.
