I'm looking for a particular link that I saw quite some time ago, where a
designer did a some pretty amazing reinventions of the calendar. If I
remember right, it was all done in flash. The designer found many
interesting and completely different ways to present a calendar.

I've searched all over and can't seem to come up with anything. If anybody
could point me toward that link (or even anything similar), it would be
greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

And now to pay my dues...

<tip type="photoshop">
Here's a quick shortcut that I thought was trivial when someone first told
me about it, but I find it more and useful as time goes on.

Alt/Option + Backspace -- Fills the selection with the foreground color

Ctrl/Apple + Backspace -- Fille the selection with the background color

</tip>
