[thelist] Lindows?

VMWare www.vmware.com works exceptionally. It basically shares resources
from your computer and makes a virtual computer that runs inside yours. So
you can be running Win2k and then open a window that has Linux running
inside of it.

You could also dual boot, but with VMWare you can switch between OS's
without rebooting, and also have both running at the same time.

OK, on that note, next question: Are there any tricks to be aware of when
installing Linux as an alternate OS on a machine already running Win2K? Any
recommendations for specific Linux ver that would be best for such a thing?
Any how-to's?
