[thelist] Protecting your code from viewing

A while back I remember a thread being discussed about the possibility of
hiding or protecting your code from being seen by viewing the source.

I have come across a web site from a junk email I received that seems to
have blocked the view source command in the windows right click pop up. The
message says:

Sorry, that function is disabled. This page is copyrighted, images and text
are protected. Or something to that affect.

So when you right click you get this message, when you highlight the text to
try and copy, you get the same. Is this a VBscript or Javascript message box
that just cancels out the previous command once it appears and OK is chosen?
This is a marketing web site of some sort, I have the web site but wasn't
sure about posting it. You can certainly email me off list to get the web
site so you can see what I'm talking about, but I have pretty much described
it.

Just curious as to how this is done for future reference.

Bob
