logo = link to home? (was RE: [thelist] Red Hat ftp server how-to?)

I'm not a professional web designer and have no affiliation with the
proftpd guys, but generally if the menu as in their case doesn't have
a ready link to the index page, I'd make the logo a link. The 'News
Flashes' link in the side menu is the one that leads back to the index
page. Not the most intuitive, true but reality is that anyone interested
enough in their *free* product won't mind doing a bit of digging, in
this case alt-left to go back to the top level.
