short answer: no.

longer answer, you can only make it difficult... the trick is to make 
it more difficult to defeat than the value of the information... for 
instance, my own photo gallery has watermarks on the images, 
and that's good enough for me, because i don't think people will 
care enough to go trying to clone out the watermark from a lossy 
.jpg, it's just too much work for the image...
