[thelist] IE Mac bug? Window resize JS, scroll bars gone

Hi there all.

Allow me to introduce myself: I'm new at Web design, coming from a graphic
design background. I don't know zip about code. I use WYSIWYG editors:
Fireworks 4 & Dreamweaver 4 for Mac. I've been lurking for the past year,
collecting any mails of interest to me.

My problem: Working on my own website ( http://www.rodegraphics.com ), I
inserted JavaScripts to resize the windows of all my main pages to more or
less 800 x 600. Everythings's fine until I test it in Explorer 5 (SR-1) for
Macintosh: When visiting pages where you need to scroll down, such as
http://www.rodegraphics.com/about.htm or
http://www.rodegraphics.com/portfolio/graphicdesign/card_rg.htm , the
vertical scroll bar doesn't show. The only way around it is to manually
resize such windows, after which the scroll bar appears. So, I removed the
scripts, but the problem's still there (and sometimes it's not). I suspect
this has something to do with the JS's, and some bug in IE for Mac
but I'm not sure.

I would really appreciate some suggestions I look at my source code and I
feel dyslexic! = )
