If you worked in the oil industry, you would think exactly that way -
the auto industry doesn't care quite so much as solar powered cars
still take work to build.

Of course, if you don't want the extra work, fine.

And I really hope you're not suggesting that users using Netscape4.x
is on the same level of problem as global warming...

Here's a thought - in times like this, where there isn't enough work about,
isn't it a Good Thing that we don't have solar powered transport because it
takes more work to build cars that run using an internal combustion engine?
The extra work from building cars the inefficient way will reduce the
effect
of unemployment on petrol station owners.
