[thelist] Web to print solutions

I develop a content management system which powers the websites at
<http://www.jungfrau-zeitung.ch/> and <http://www.zugermedia.ch> (among
others). We use an Xtag plugin to pull the articles from a 4th Dimension
database <http://www.4d.com> to create Quark documents, which are then used
to make the weekly newspapers.

4D doesn't currently have a plugin for SQL connectivity (which is a real
pain for me as I come from an ASP / PHP / SQL background), so it wouldn't be
the direct solution for you: a search on Google
<http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Xtags> does bring back some
interesting sites though, which might help.
