And, what's more, actually *do* understand more than a bit about
the business problems that clients face, and how (and indeed whether)
online stuff can help. Which is very different from boutique shops...
Getting (and maintaining) that portfolio is a pretty good testament
to being able to escape the web-shop prejudice. Also having stuff
which clients genuinely need to make what they have run properly
(CMS, multi-localisation capabilities) helps.

You heard right. A number of very well-publicised screwups helped that
happen.
