Ben, check out ActivEdit by http://cfdev.com

1) It has much better licensing than Ektron. While Ektron has a decent
content management tool as well, for straight visual HTML editing, AE 2.5
has MUCH better licensing terms and is far cheaper to roll out.

2) AE 2.5 is, alas, also for Win only. HOWEVER, contact them. Version 3.0 is
supposed to have Java support which will work well in your Mac environment.
I also think that you will be getting a solidly supported and developed
code-base with AE going forward.

Best of luck!

: Is there a web-based visual HTML editor for the Mac? Where a user can
: come, get a box of some sorts and can type in text, highlight some, bold
: it, add a bulleted list, or what-have-you. Only catch is it *must* work
: for the Mac (OS 9, OS X in a pinch), any browser at this point.

: eWebEditPro, made by Ektron: <http://www.ektron.com/>
