I haven't seen Chris's comment, but I'll take exception to your taking
of exception to it. :-)
I've had only bad experiences trying to get Access to work reliably for
even very small loads. It's not a proper database server in any sense.

Why? Using a normal ODBC connection it makes no difference what the database
is to your ASPs. Even with MySQL, you can still use Access as a front-end to
it for admin purposes. Access is a fine front-end. But Jet a bobbins back-end.
But then I use a mixture of databases together with Python CGIs rather than
all this new-fangled ASP and PHP stuff. So maybe I'm just weird.
