[thelist] CC domain registrar spamming

go to this site and notice the pop-unders:
http://www.medco-school.cc/

it seems somebody over there agreed to get their domain name as a .cc in
addition to their regular .com (http://www.medco-school.com/)...

it seems the registrar offered to handle all the forwarding to the .com
address, too... but the registrar didn't tell them that they were going to
create a 0% frame that launches ad content... who knows what kind of ad
content, since nobody over at the client was informed of this little revenue-
generating ploy...

the company who pulled this stunt is eNIC (http://www.nic.cc/)...

i think it's pretty clear that anyone going through them might want to rethink
using eNIC, or force them to turn off the frame-based pop-under spamming...

that's just bad web karma...
