Hello Everybody,
The key suspect of the kidnap of Daniel Pearl has been arrested by
Pakistani police. He used e-mails to send his demands and the
photographs of the kidnapped journalist. He mostly used a Hotmail e-mail
account for this purpose. According to CNN, the Hotmail account used for
this purpose was filled up with spam mails so that it was inaccessible
for any more e-mails. It took a lot of time for pin pointing the senders
of e-mails. Today over 20 days have past since the kidnap of Daniel
Pearl. Couldn't the Microsoft administration help the Pakistani police
and FBI in locating that computer which was being used for sending
mails?
Why did the Hotmail administration not deleted the spam mails from the
kidnappers mail account and did not stop any more spam mails? This could
help the investigators in contacting the kidnappers through e-mail.
