[thelist] css with mac; ie and ns6

I'm having a bit of a problem with getting my css to work with IE5.01 and
NS6 for the Mac.  It works fine for the Windows counterparts, however.

The problem is that text displays incorrectly when the div is relatively
positioned and when the div uses a margin-right or margin-left property.
When I change the div to be absolutely positioned, it displays properly but
it contracts to only fill the size of the text rather than the window
(following a liquid-table look).
