[thelist] fireworks not printing

I'm not sure what's leading to not printing there either. Just to be sure,
does it always not print only when you import (open?) a particular
photograph? If you draw a vector brushstroke atop that photo then does
anything change? (This could help separate content-related differences from
configuration-related differences.)
