Erik,

I'm admittedly something of a Nielsen fan (within reason) -- I think he has
some opinions with which I disagree, but if you can find ANYONE who agrees
with me 100% on everything then... well... you've found _me_. No-one will
agree with me on everything, but I think Nielsen is a "good fit" in many
regards.

I find people who say "he disagrees with me on point <x>, so he's full of
it" irritating in the extreme, anyway. (I'm not talking about you, or indeed
Nielsen: just the argument as a whole. Also used a lot with politicians.)

But anyway, my point is: what on his Flash-related alertbox
(http://www.useit.com/alertbox/20001029.html) do you disagree with? I've
looked everywhere, and while there are some rather sweeping generalisations,
I don't see anything there that convinces me that he is, indeed, shooting
his mouth off. With what do you disagree?

(I know this article has been debated ad-nauseam elsewhere, but I am curious
to get another opinion)

Cheers,

Paul
