Once I'd worked out what *were* the links and what were random flickering
bits of fluff, you're right, it did seem to be playing a game of "run away
from
the pointer". I have no doubt that a subtle, deeper logic which would
astound
me on an intellectual level would become apparent once I'd spent some
time playing with it. But is that what you want from functional navigation?

I have mine on very, very slightly, enough to provide visual feedback, but
not enough to move the icons.
