Also be aware that WebSTAR 4.x ($399, which is what you'll have to run
on OS 8; the newest version is OSX) uses a not-completely-standard
implementation of SSI. For the most part it works, but there are some
small differences.

It's also *not* like working on Apache. It's a very different web server
owing to its operating system. It's simple to run and pretty stable, but
if your site is going to end up on Apache, then you should test it on
Apache. Double emphasis for IIS.


George, what's the site going to end up on? Is the OS8 machine something

that could run Yellow Dog Linux or something? Do you have an account on

members.evolt.org? You can run SSI there.
