it appears that I have missed the requirement for posters to this list to
include some sort of tip in their post. Is it a requirement for posting or
just something that some people do ?
Thanks to all who replied to my question earlier today even though I didn't
play the tip game.
Here are my tips:

position and float properties in the same class result in a <div> with
*that* class being unseen in IE5Mac. All other css compliant browsers appear
unaffected.
