[thelist] Setting records to expire after a specific time?

Hi,

Is there a way to set the records to expire a specific time after having
been entered in the db?
Let's say that I want a record to expire one year from the day of
input... How will I go about doing that?
This is one of those requests by a client who are unsure of the reason
why he wants it done but he wants it....:P
