[thelist] platform/browser check

Hi,
All I saw was a place-keeper for the flash intro, as I have flash turned off
while surfing - The rest of the site is all html, so a simple "skip intro"
link, under the flash movie, would make the site usable to all.
In fact, this is the kind of site users want to access from their PDA to
book a room quickly, so I think the intro should be offered as an option
"View intro" .

PS, get http://www.flashswitch.com/ if you want to test the site with and
without flash.

I'm not so keen on the grey background to the form elements.

The site is pretty image-heavy, taking long to load, and the rollovers not
working, or showing place-keepers for the first 30sec (on DSL).

Aside from that; it seemed to work ok in Mozilla, NS4, and IE5.5.

You might want to run a few emulators, like WebTV viewer, or WinCE viewer,
to see how it degrades for those users.
Being a Hotel I think they can't afford to disregard WebTV!

Cheers,
Richard.
