As always Ron...though provoking...

<'nuther snip from Jay>
web development profession has reached a crossroads.
They question is...what are we...
&
(2) 'Us' as an industry? Or 'Us' as in evolt?
</snip>

Why not evolt? We are a loosely banded group of web development
professionals. And as a fund raiser...well there you go! :) I have some
vendor certifications, which are valid certs, but I would think that we
could look at the whole of web developent, break it down by category and
expertise. Rather than being vendor concentric (unless, of course, some
vendor wanted to throw money at it as a sponsor...whoops, small ethical
slip) it could be profession concentric.

<snip>
I think the 'evolt certification' was brought up recently on 'theforum' as a
potential fund raiser ... but I don't think it has any legs at the moment.
</snip>

Maybe we should consider giving it legs, and we should consider all things
associated with it, such as marketing the prgram, etc.

<snip>
Want a kind of lame hand to help work on it?
</snip>

Yep!

Thanks!

Jay
