[thelist] Looking for inspiration

Hi,

I'm in the process of re-creating my own personal website, and I want to go
down the route of a really simple XHTML/CSS based design. I've always worked
in tables up to now, and would like to learn something new.

I am looking for some sites that make use of clean simple, bold designs,
lots of flat colour (and only a few for the entire palette), sparse
graphics, that sort of thing, that I can look at and learn from. I dont want
to steal / rip off ideas - I hate it when people do that, I simply want to
see good designs, look at how its done, and learn from it.

So, can anybody reccomend any sites like that?
