Katharina,

The thing I enjoy about this list is that it's NOT limited to just ASP/PHP
or any one language. It allows me (primarily PHP/Perl/MySQL developer) a
chance to keep up to date on current technologies that are in my field, but
not something I am currently working with.

Not only do I get a chance to help people out when I can answer questions,
but I also have the benefit of learning myself. I seriously doubt anyone
here knows it all, but each person has their specialty. In that sense, each
of use have the power to not only help other people, but receive help
ourselves. In this growing IT industry, as technologies become more and
more complex to allow us to develop faster (doesn't that just sound so
ironic?), this list is a valuable learning tool.

That is why I love this list.
