we have a list of websites (about 300) that all need thumbnails of the
front page generating.

of course, this could be done by hand - which would take a long time,
but would get done eventually.

however, it seems that this may have to be repeated quite a few times,
and i wouldn't like to have to go through hundreds of websites, getting
screenshots and reducing in size each time.

does anybody know of any software that can do this for me? or any way i
can script some software or anything - any way to make this job easier?
i keep putting this job off because i really don't fancy it...
