You biggest headache might be caused by delayed DNS record
propagation.  It's going to take a couple of days at least for the
changed DNS record to point to new IP's.  Best thing to do is have
the current DNS provider establish a redirect over to the new
environment for a couple of days /week.  That should minimize your
headaches.
