You might look at the $7 shareware EzDNS, which can read your dyanamic IP
and automatically insert and ftp upload that variable into a web page.  I
have a dial up connection but if I want my server to be publicly accessible,
I have people go to a static URL, at which I place a 0 meta refresh
(redirect) page. THAT page is the one that EzDNS uploads and the URL to be
redirected to is my dynamic IP address.
