hello.  i've been lurking for a few weeks.  i hope someone can help me out
with this one.

i'm working with a fairly standard layout (header, left menu, content), etc.
the basics are, for example:

http://clasdean.la.asu.edu/afc/

over time, i've made the left menu table an SSI.  then i rewrote the entire
page with css positioning.  what i can't figure out is how to apply the
style sheet to the include.  any suggestions?  is this possible?
