Hey Zeeshan :

You can set up the dial-up networking in Windows to disconnect you
automatically after a few minutes of inactivity. This might be something
you would like to consider if you are thinking about managing your
internet time. Along the same lines, you can set up your email client
(its easy if you use Outlook) to logon the net (using your dialup),
download your messages, store them on your computer, and then
disconnect...and repeat the process at a time interval that you select.
Whenever you get on your computer, you will have your email waiting for
you, and the best part is, you won't have to be online to read it. If
you receive HTML email (which should be turned off, IMO), then you will
not see the graphics/banners/etc.

Regards,
Burhan Khalid
