[thelist] Dots (.) in image file names

Go to a folder in your computer, click on "Tools" then "Folder
Options"... Click on the 'view' tab, and scroll down in the box
displayed until you see the "Hide extensions for known file types"
checkbox. Uncheck it. Now look at the image you saved to your computer.
