When people say DHTML, they mean using a client-side scripting language like
JavaScript to manipulate the HTML DOM (Document Object Model), often in a
manner using "layers" &/or CSS in general. The "dynamic" part comes from
the ability to animate, hide/show, change the content of, etc, HTML
elements.
